Blogmas Day 15: Mermaid DIY
Are you tired of the mermaids yet?
I am in home stretch though. I finally got the last piece I needed to complete the bathroom. Which you will be seeing this week.
Today is a simple Dollar Store DIY. I have a door knob hanger that was already tropical themed I just flipped it over, removed the tag and sanded it:
Next, I took some blue acrylic paint and painted it:
Last I took some glitter paper I got a Hobby Lobby traced a mermaid fin and attached with Mod Podge/Glue:
I free handed "Mermaid Xing" with pencil and followed it with a colored fine point sharpie! It turned out really cute!
