Treehouse of Horror!

One of my favorite things during Halloween is The Simpsons Tree house of horror episodes.  Every year repeats run and there is always a new episode too.  Here are my favorites:

The very 1st that started it all. If your not familiar with the Treehouse of Horror episodes, Bart, Lisa & Maggie sit in the Treehouse during Halloween and try to out scare each other with scary stories as Homer listens outside.

Lisa's tells the epic story of Poe's The Raven (one of my favorites) with Bart being the raven.  It's very funny epsically when the raven (Bart) drops Poe books on Homer's head.

Next is The Simpons portrayal of Stephen King's The Shining, or The Shinning as Groundskeeper Willie calls it. The Simpsons take care of a hotel ran by none other than Mr. Burns, there is no beer or TV. 

Homer: "No beer and no TV make Homer go something, something."

Marge: "Go crazy?"

Homer: "Don't mind if I do!"

So Homer goes on a crazy rampage with an axe trying to kill the family. The pun for the rest of the show is Groundskeeper Willie gets axed in the other two episodes.  Funny. 

Homer 3D.  This by far has to be one of my all time favorites.  Homer is trying to escape from Patty and Thelma and ends up in a parallel universe, that's behind their bookshelf.  Bart goes in to rescue Homer from a black hole that he has caused but Homer ends up in our world in the and going into a cake store. LOL

In the same episode as The Shinning is where Homer tries to repare the toaster and somehow creates a time machine.  It's funny watching Homer trying to get back to his time each time he returns to the kitchen the family is different one instance they're rich but never of heard of doughnuts then when Homer retreats screaming into the basement it rains doughnuts.  The above picture is where Bart and Lisa are giants, who plan to smash Homer and yeah Groundskeeper Willie gets axed.

Speaking of giants, The attack of the 50 foot eyesores is another on my list. Homer is mad when he is a victim of false advertising at Lard Lad doughnuts, the he steals the metal doughnut belonging to Lard Lad. Lard Lad comes to life along with other commerical mascots to create havoc in Springfield. 

I can't remember the exact title of this one. But Homer sells his soul for a doughnut and the devil himself is Flanders.  Once he finishes the doughnut Homer has to go to hell.  Mmmmm forbidden doughnut.  Homer winds up going to trail over the whole mess, and in the end he ends up becoming a doughnut.

Marge: "Homer, quite picking at it"

Homer: "But I'm so tasty"

Last but not least. Kang and Kotos the one-eyed aliens usually make their appearance on Treehouse of Horrors one episode in particular where Maggie becomes one of them. Marge gets abducted and the then knocked by Kang with a laser. They end up going on Jerry Springer over the whole ordeal.  It's the custody battle of the century.  The funny part is when Maggie talks like them.

Of course they're are more but these are my favs.  I saw the previews for this years and it looks like they're doing a spin off of Twilight should be hilarious. Can't wait!
