June Can't Clutch This 1 year

Wow!

It has been one year since I've joined Studio DIY Can't Clutch this subscription! I didn't share last month's subscription because I didn't get in on the Flair which was a key element to the clutch but it was sold out at the time I was getting ready to purchase it and it happened to be the case again for this months too *sighs*

However, since it is my 1-year anniversary with Studio DIY, I thought I would share June's clutch without the flair and talk about my overall experience with Studio DIY .

My favorite Clutches:

I loved the Eraser Clutch (which I don't think I blogged about?)

December's Blue Envelope Clutch

Pizza my heart Clutch

Also I didn't blog about my first clutch either (odd) but it was also my favorite which is a soap bubble clutch with a cute bar of soap flair too! The most popular one is toaster pastry clutch which you can get currently (minus the flair)  I am not keen to pay $29.99 for it without the flair. So not sure I will get it even though I really want it.

Onto June's clutch!

This is the 2nd Clear Clutch Studio DIY has done which was back in March I use that one to carry my Sharpies in. Watermelon's are perfect iconic summer staple. The flair was two other fruit shapes a lemon wedge/pineapple so I was bummed that I missed out on that (more in bit) I do love watermelons so this is perfect and I might use it in my beach bag!

Again I miss having the extra pockets that are the norm of most of the Studio DIY clutches (Pizza my heart didn't include it either because of the shape). But the none the less this clutch is super cute!

Now onto the pros and cons of Can't Clutch This Subscription

Pros:

Delivery is pretty quick right after your order is filled it's shipped right away

The clutches are super cute, durable and the sizes are perfect! Clutches have come a long way since the itty bitty sizes back in the day. You can fit more into these babies which is a plus.(minus Pizza my heart) One of these days I will have to share a basic "What's in my clutch?" To give you an idea

Pockets! Okay most all the clutches do have a inside pocket which again is a game changer for me. Because when I downsize to a clutch, I downsize my wallet too so I like to have the extra pocket for all my extra cards, etc.

Price. If you don't add the flair your clutch is $19.99 which maybe a tad high for some but you get a super cute quality clutch and free shipping! ($3 for international shipping)

Packaging: The clutch comes in a nice flat white box and wrapped in cute tissue paper

You can use the clutches for other things. Like with the Ipsy bags which I use for my growing sunglasses collection/mini make up bag. The clutches are bigger and more versatile.

Cons:

The flairs: When the clutch is announced you get a certain deadline to add the flair to your clutch which 99% of the time I miss out on because I don't get to jump onto a computer or my phone right away to add. Last month's clutch was swimming pool clutch and the flair was pins of bathing beauties so by the time I went to go add the set to my clutch they were sold out. So my clutch seemed to be pointless with out the pins.

Also the flairs should be an automatic freebie or something. There is an additional fee for each flair which usually is a key chain to attach to the zipper of the clutch.

Some of the flair's don't go with the clutch or that is my opinion anyways. For an example the Cactus clutch which was March/April and the flair was a pom-pom key chain I didn't think went with it. They should have done a smaller cactus maybe or something along those lines. This month's flair was other fruit pieces which sort of goes with the watermelon but not really.

Price: Again with add on flair depending what you can get can make the subscription pricey again. Which is not necessarily a bad thing and again some of the clutches need the flair other times they don't it depends on your style

Overall, I've enjoyed my subscription to Can't Clutch This. I am hoping they do more shaped clutches like a lemon/lime wedge would be really cool!

Have a great weekend!
