Mason Jar Monday
For my first July 4th project, I wanted to do a center piece. A nod to what I did last year but a little different so I purchased some good old mason jars from Hobby Lobby and cupcake liners:
As you can see I trace the lid onto the liner and cut it out and fit it over the ring:
Next I went to my local Dollar Tree for the shimmery shred stuff you put in gifts this time they had all the colors I needed!! Fill the jar accordingly.
I carefully poked holes with scissors and placed my flags in until all flags are in:
The finished product:
I wasn’t sure if I would need Styrofoam to secure the flags in the jar, but turns out I didn’t. The shimmer stuffing was enough!!
