Railroad crossing Centerpieces
Saturday (NYE), my nephew looked turned 3 and he had a Thomas the Train theme for his party. My friend had asked me to make centerpieces for the tables. She had gone to Rail Road Days (annual event in Nebraska) and saw a centerpiece that she wanted to do for Luke's party.
It was a simple design with a white X crossing sign and the yellow railroad sign. I made prints of X sign and glued them down first onto some black paper:
Next I traced the yellow railroad sign:
Then take Sharpies and colored it in:
After the glue dried, I cut the signs to size attach with dowels and I put them aluminum Coke bottles filled with rice:
It turned out great!
